Born and raised in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Vernon Henry Geddes possessed a passion and curiosity for computing. Vernon was typical of the many smart people who were irresistibly drawn to the early world of digital processing & main frame computing. Vern had a dream of owning his own computer system - years before it became a common household tool. Over the years, as his knowledge grew - so did his collection of computers and peripherals. Some of Vern's items are now part of the University of Saskatchewan Computer Museum collection, in the hope of teaching and inspiring others to learn about the history of computing.
